"I don't completely get how they build all these tents myself..." Though he snorts. "But seeing how a smaller one that looked like you acted when water hit them, it's probably for the best..." It isn't surprising that pokemon would build tents in this sort of area with that in mind.

"Yea well where I come from we don't exactly hear of giant wolves and sacred forests. If anything that's something you'd see on a duel monster's card." He shrugs.

"Anyway, if you're so against the tents, you might wanna find a cave before it rains..."

Gulp. Somehow, he's getting enough courage to shout back even though she really could just swallow him. "If you haven't noticed, I have a beak- and it isn't just rain..! If you're anything like the other ones I saw, you're what they're calling 'fire type'..! Water hits you, it's gonna sting something fierce..!"

It'll also 'sting something fierce' if it hits him actually, but he'll hopefully have solved that issue by then. (There's always the cafe he supposes.)
