[Of all the things to find on the Katsbert Ferry... that thing, whatever it'd been. And then there'd been voices in his head, only they didn't sound like Asch or Lorelei, and they didn't even give him a headache like usual. And then he'd blacked out and now...
Something wasn't right.
He opened his eyes.
He was way too close to the ground. The way he was pressed against it was all wrong. Things just didn't feel right? He glanced left and right, trying to get a sense for how the movement seemed different. Wait a sec, were those feathers?!]
What the hell-?!
[He tried to leap to his feet, only to stumble, and quickly end up face-first in the dirt, coughing and spluttering. Okay, so that didn't go so well...]
[By the pattern of things...it's safe to assume that many here are unused to their new body shapes.
...He would try to help the small bird thing up, but he's not really sure how this four-legs thing works and would like to avoid falling over as well. Ahaha...ha.]
[Some part of him wants to snap - does he look all right to you? But right now, the larger part of him is still trying to figure out what the hell is going on...
Carefully he stretches his legs out, getting used to the movement, before turning his head to see... Wait, was that who was talking to him...? What the hell was this!?]
[Well, the apology, not to mention his overall calmer demeanor serves to make Luke pause a little, and stop flailing about as much.]
Oh... right...
[There's a sort of unspoken apology there, or at least a bit guilty for having snapped. Still, he's a bit frustrated and embarrassed still, stuck on the ground. Back to flailing we go.]
[Luke has... no idea who this person is at all, but they sound like a somewhat kindred spirit]
R-right...
[Let's see if he can get up himself. His legs scrabble uselessly at the ground a few times, as his mind doesn't realize quite yet it's connecting to different sets of muscles. After a while, though, he stops, swearing a little under his breath. Okay, he needs to try something different. After trying to get used to the movement of his legs a little - stretching them out and pulling them back in a few times, he slowly plants one foot beneath him, then another, trying to push himself up off the ground.
For a moment he manages it, and his claws dig into the ground tightly as he wobbles, trying to keep his balance. Once he manages to feel a little - little more secure, he turns to the other]
[Qualified or not, Lavi shakes his head, feeling his ears flop slightly against his head. That's incredibly disconcerting.]
I've been tryin' to keep my feet since I got here. I keep fallin' down like I'm made of nothin' but rubber.
[He still tries to get up, pushing his feet up under him, making him upright but in an awkward stance. He twitches his tail, glad that he can at least stand even if he's not walking.]
I'm thinkin' this has gotta be somewhere in Europe. Doesn't explain why the hell we look like this, though.
[There's an itch in his jaw as he watches the little torchic trip and flail around. Jade frowns, trying to makes sense of this odd feeling. It doesn't take him long, but the conclusion he arrives at makes no sense.]
[Why does he want to bite this little bird so badly?]
[So, Luke, have a totodile shuffling over to you that's wearing a very familiar pacman belt. His head is tilted to one side, and he studies you curiously.]
[There's movement nearby. He knows this, on some level, but it doesn't really register as something important - more important than trying to figure out how to stand up, dammit - until the Totodile is almost right next to him. That's when he looks over, and sees the Water Pokemon right next to him.
There's some instinct, some sort of natural aversion in the back of his mind, that of a Fire type to avoid Water... and he tries to scramble away. Tries. In the end, for all his struggling, he only ends up rolling onto his side, claws flailing.]

Ah - I'm sorry if I startled you. My name is Ondorus - you seemed a bit unsteady, and I was concerned.
[Ondorus takes a step back.]

If this is hell, it's brighter'n I thought it'd be.
[This is really uncomfortable. How do some dogs sit sideways like this? Ugh.]
This is the worst day I've ever had'n that's sayin' somethin'. I'd help you up if I could stop just rollin' everywhere like some boneless dog.

[At least one of them is upright even if it is wobbly. Lavi's still working on that one.]
Wish it'd be under less confusin' circumstances, that's for sure. Any idea where we are?

[The standing stones remind him a little bit of the Fubras River, but there's no water anywhere...]
I'm Luke. Uh... do you need...
[Luke's probably not the most qualified to help right now, but... still. He probably should try, at least.]

...Though this one looks, like he is wondering, whether he should say something or not. Or maybe he should just watch for now?]
H-hey... [this is said very timidly.]

Wh-who are you?

[nervous look.]
