1st Experiment - Flying Lessons
[Szayel is quite enjoying having functional wings.]
[It took some doing, even for his genius mind, to fully understand and appreciate the work that went into properly making his wings work. It was such a simple task for this body it was almost embarrassing to admit that he had been afraid to test it much. Still, now that he had gotten the hang of working his wings, he dared to go a little higher, enjoying the sight of all the potential specimens milling about on their own business under him. Yes, from this angle, he could quietly observe just about anyone, and none of these simple minded fools would probably even realize what exactly he was doing.]
[Flying was now Szayel's second favorite thing to do.]
[...until it suddenly didn't work right.]
[An updraft caught him unprepared, and his thin wings did not stand much against it. He was tossed up a bit in the air, wings flapping rapidly to get back control, before he plummeted straight down into the simpletons he had been observing before.]
[...and he'll be landing on you. Thanks, by the way. You made a great cushion for breaking his fall. Only not.]
