I have a villain!
This pleases me, as antagonist have been short on the ground so far. Not only does he seem to be pleasingly motivated, but he's given an 800 word speech to the city council outlining the plot! Hurrah! There's also a secondary bad guy, the mother of one of the main characters; although 'bad' may be the wrong word here. She's just following different priorities to those the party will be pursuing.
I'm still in the unhappy position of waking up with four thousand words to write each day to get up to the target, and in the end only managing about eighteen hundred. With the looming prospect of another low hundreds word count on Thursday, I'm going to need to go some at the weekend to get this train wreck back on track.
