My FANATIC◇CRISIS story

Aug 29, 2006 19:43

Okay, I've been mentioning these guys like forever and obviously going gaga over Tsutomu and them ... but how did I actually find FANATIC◇CRISIS?

So... I have to admit, I seriously love 石月 努 of FANATIC◇CRISIS. I just wish I had known the band before they were gone.

-First encounter-
The first time I saw FANATIC◇CRISIS was when I was randomly searching official fansites of Jrock bands. (Why was I doing that? Out of whim maybe? And I promised someone to list down birthdates of Japanese rock artists. I eventually enjoyed website-hopping, so I searched more.)

When I landed on the official website of FANATIC◇CRISIS, and saw them guys, I thought they weren't visual as what my eyes are used to see. So I didn't pay too much attention to them. This is one of the biggest mistakes I've made in my life. Exaggerated, but yes, that's what I think so.

-Second encounter-
When I was ransacking the piled-up old and dusty cds inside this particular shop, I came across THE.LOST.INNOCENT. Because FANATIC◇CRISIS was a familiar name to me, I bought it as well (with the other cds from artists I thought I may have heard once before). Sadly though, THE.LOST.INNOCENT only had the booklet and cd--no case, no cd jacket, no obi.

After a few weeks, I went back to the shop with the hope that there are new goods, hopefully of Janne Da Arc or L'Arc~en~Ciel or vkei bands (cause I found BAISER's Pegasus before). As if fate was introducing to me FANATIC◇CRISIS, I found [ONE] one for all.

But I wasn't into them just yet. But I still bought it. Hehe... this is a bad habit I'm developing~

-The Final-
After a few days of buying the cds and keeping them in my closet, I finally had the chance of listening to them (Janne Da Arc can really occupy my daily playlist). So there. However, the songs didn't appeal to me at first. Maybe because I was sleepy then so I can hardly appreciate anything. Anyhow, after a few more listens, I decided they're good. But not enought to be included in my daily listen-to songs.

So I surfed the net. There isn't much.... I can't remember exactly what happened or what I found... but I was suddenly hooked. I was looking at the booklets of THE.LOST.INNOCENT and [ONE] one for all, and little by little I found myself drawn (I find this line funny, but "drawn" would suffice ^^) to 石月 努 (Tsutomu Ishizuki, vocalist). Most of the songs in THE.LOST.INNOCENT and [ONE] one for all were written and composed by Tsutomu, so I liked him more. He's also the one of the producers of their releases! It's as if every new discovery about Tsutomu escalates my crush on him to a higher level. I found videos in YouTube, so I took a peek of some of them (just a peek, because streaming audio/video isn't allowed where I work. yeah right). I can't believe it myself, but alas! I am fangirling over Tsutomu.

When I returned to the shop _again_, I found the Behind single. Edit: I just remembered, the Behind single was just in a plastic sleeve, so I looked for a single case with relatively minimal scratches, I picked up a GOSPELLERS single (can't remember the title right now), then took off the disc and jacket and replaced with the Behind disc and jacket. Looks better now XD But I still bought that GOSPELLERS single :p

See, every time I go to that shop, I find something FtC. Like this past weekend, I found two magazines with them. However I look at it, it's a sign. *sigh*

This is my story. I will properly introduce them later. And add pictures on the "[]" ^^
Edit: Pictures added!
