It was... hmm... great... it wasn't a grand production, just your plain beloved guys performing onstage. This is the first full FtC concert that I've watched; I don't know if this is their best, even if I am a hard core fan, I really can't tell XD I'm trying to be a bit objective, okay XD Yes they were very good, every one--Shun, Ryuji, Kazuya, and Tohru... and Tsutomu. He... He owns me. Seriously. But I thought he somehow overdid his singing style. I can't actually describe it, but if you know a lot of their songs, when he reaches those lower notes, you'll get what I mean. But his voice stood out... as if louder than the instruments. And boy, has he got lots of fangirls.

Ugh. I can't give a proper live report coz the setlist was long and some of my faves were in it and all I can remember is Tsutomu was so hot.. he was so full of energy he was jumping and dancing every now and then.. he sings with all his heart.. he was so gorgeous.. I love him.. he owns me... XD

Okay, seriously now... hmm...

There was a short opening video on the DVD, showing a few group snapshots against a black screen. And the background music was one for future/z. Dammit. One thing I hate about music box songs is they sound damn sad. And when I was watching this, I was certain that this concert will make me cry. Come on, when you show something like this--group pictures with a music box sound in the background, they were like showing FtC's history then til now--it just means that this show will be significant... as it is the last. I know they've stopped already, don't remind me with such pictures. Don't remind me at all.

Their clothes. Why are we talking about clothes? We know they don't dress overly fancy, not in the majority of their career at least, I think they choose their own outfits anywhere, even in PVs. But what caught my attention was that Shun and Kazuya each had a flower on the chest. It was like a corsage. It just striked me as weird. Tsutomu was wearing black sando/tank, an open white/black printed polo, and white pants... his wristband-something was really nice. I want one. ^^; I'll get it from him when we meet XD Ah! and before I forget. When he took off his polo which I really wanted to see ^^; there was a round patch on his right shoulder. Is it to control his smoking? I don't know how many kinds of patches there are in the world, but this is the one I can likely conclude, since he does smoke. Whatever. It was a patch and you can really see it against his skin.

Hmmm... the venue. Tokyo Bay NK Hall. It was packed. Yeah, mostly women, but I can see some guys, too. Considering that the place isn't that large, the stage was alright, not too big, they don't really need a big space, they didn't move around that much anyway. I thought Tohru was somehow isolated behind the stage. There was a big curtain at the back, with FtC's logo on it. And it was dropped during one song that I can't remember which. Ah, there were some kind of hanging lanterns (maybe not lanterns, because they weren't lighting up) with FtC's logo. Then there were TV's on each side of the stage, for people on the back who can't see the stage. I think there was a time when Tsutomu went down the stage to walk in front of the front row guys. Lucky~!

Hmmm... I need to watch this again... and in one sitting >_<

The guys were... in high spirits. Tsutomu especially. Did I mention he jumped and danced often? What a guy. Ryuji went in front of the stage most of the time. Ryuji to me is somewhat arrogant, even if he's the smallest among them XP Shun was most often glued in his place, but he would headbang a lot. And he had a fan in front of him? I thought so coz his hair was being blown somewhat... I wish Tsutomu had a fan in front of him, too... well I wish would just stay still even for a while, I didn't want him to get exhausted easily. But he was so damn energetic. But! during the song Ryuuguu, he obviously lost breath for a while. He couldn't sing one line. Hmmm, what else, Tohru was smiling behind his drumset. I thought he would be serious live, but no, he was smiling now and then. Kazuya didn't move much either, away from his microphone. He looked so cool and grinning a lot.

Songs. Damn, I REALLY need to watch this again.

The opening song was Freedom. Weeee ^^ Next was Circus. I really like this song so I was a bit squeally at this point. Hmmm... then there's a new song, Phantom, and the lyrics is inserted in the dvd case. Written and composed by Tsutomu. Hmm.. Kimi ga iru sekai was their last song... although this song is nice, I hate it, cause it sounds sad and when Tsutomu was singing this, painfully reaching the high notes, I was close to tears. This is the last song on THE.LOST.INNOCENT album. Ever since I listened to that album, I already don't dig this song, cause it was the song after Unmei to kanashisugiru, which is kinda upbeat, whereas Kimi ga iru sekai was slow and sentimental.

Of course that wasn't the last, there were two encores. Shinsekai was the opening on the second encore. Damn I wuv this song. The last song in the setlist was Love Me. I don't know this song, but it looks popular, of course. Near the end, when the guys were starting to cry, Tsutomu allowed the audience to sing the "Love me, love me" lines for how many minutes? 5 minutes? Or more? God, it was long and taunting. Primarily coz you hear female voices and the high-pitched kind. *shiver* But really, this part was touching. Kazuya looked really impressed, he was smiling at the audience, I can't remember seeing him shedding a tear. Or did he? Ryuji wasn't crying, too. He was encouraging the audience to sing more and louder. Shun was wiping his tears with his sleeves... Tsutomu's face was shifting from smiling to sad, but most of the time sad. I couldn't see Tohru that much then, but he was serious this time, leaning on his drum as if tired. I mean of course he is, and this was his chance to rest, coz this break courtesy of the audience was horribly long. Then. They finally said goodbye. But they had a group picture first, back against the audience. The lucky girls in the front row posed, too, hoping to be included in the picture.

Whatever. I wish I was there. I wish I was there to tell them, Don't stop! We don't want to see you go... But they did. They were in tears. Especially Tsutomu. Someone who's led the group for more than 10 years. He was the first to go--to leave the stage. It was heartbreaking. I can feel the sadness in him... in them.

I was deeply saddened with what I witnessed.

Me overreacting? Probably. Cause they're close to my heart. Yes, he is.

I miss them. I miss Tsutomu.

I personally love this concert. And I will probably love every concert I get to buy and watch.

But now I am eternally depressed. Until I see Tsutomu somewhere, I will be sad all my life.

I wish I can include screenshots here, but the pc is terribly slow, it would take me forever to take nice caps. I'll try. Remind me. I mean if you really want to see.

And you know what makes me sadder even more? I lost auctions for their official fanclub magazine TWICE. One was almost complete, the second had only 3. But either way.

*sigh*

But something to cheer me up was, my YesAsia order finally arrived ^^ I'll post about that next time.

Edit
Can't believe I was too lazy to not include the setlist. There. They played their indies songs, too. And BE YOU, which is just wonderful. Ah! Too many good songs! ^^

Edit
Mwehehehe... Tsutomu was wearing black nail polish here, too. And his dangling earring was nice but looked pretty heavy.

I love Tsutomu. Period.
