college has been....so...wow, i can't even describe it.
so....changing.
rutgers has given me school spirit. yes, school spirit. i've gone to 2 (count em, TWO) football games so far....
I have dorm pride like nobody's business though....(also, yay for slang!)
I have gone through so many different relationships and such in the past three months, it's both frightening and astounding. Have I enjoyed it all? Well, there has been many a night where my friends will say "fuck no you haven't!"...but, overall, I'm glad what has happened, has. I know what i'm looking for now, I know what to do in these situations now.
I have lost contact with so many of my friends, and yet found so many new ones. It is such a sense of loss and found at the same time. I can't describe it.
I have learned to occasionally put myself before others. After all, I rock, and deserve some good treatment from myself.
Friends always will stay with you, through good and bad, at college. Keep your neighbors close to your heart. Roommates, however, are a different story....
8:10 classes truly are the bane of a freshman's existence.
SAT scores do not matter. AP's, however, when chosing classes, do. Yay for coming in with 14 credits! Yay for being able to pick classes 2 days before everyone else next week! :-)
Astrology is some of the hippest shit ever known to man. EVERYONE knows their sign and their ascendant, and moon...and everything else. I am also extremely unbalanced according to the stars, with 5/12 of my signs in fire. Whoo? (note to others: this may also be a phenomenon only seen at Demarest...heh)
I have run for two different positions on Hall Gov't, and gotten them both. I have proven on many occasions that I can be a damn fine leader.
(My roommate is currently talking in his sleep....nice).
Laundry, while not difficult to do, is a bitch to lug up and down the stairs to the basement.
I love living right next to the stoop outside. I always am entertained, and am never really too bored.
On many occasions, I have sacrificed schoolwork for social things. (Senioritis has taught me well).
Massages are both fun to get AND give.
Dorms with amazing family environments are fun. Plus, everyone knows your business. Whoo!
If anyone interested in Rutgers would like to come visit, drop me a line.
I miss a lot of you guys...and hope to see some of you at the football game. (Yes, yes...I am going to it actually :-P )
