A hospital visit's worth of prescriptions? $128.
Knowing that it'll help me not cough? Priceless.

even if I do have to take prednizone. grr.

until mr. hacking wheezing cough goes away, i am on:

• prednizone (a cortical steroid): 3 20mg tablets once a day
  
• tussionex (hydrocodone and chlorpheniramine, prescription cough syrup): 1 tsp twice a day
  
• a combivent inhaler (albuterol and ipratropium bromide, bronchial dilators and stimulants): 2 puffs every 4 hours

so i'm on, respectively, a steroid, a downer, and a stimulant. whee. (although, oddly, i think the stimulants in the bronchial dilators make me hear better)
