bow down before me, livejournal friends, for i now have the maine registration "OMG-WTF".
i totally almost choked and messed up when the clerk asked me what it stood for.
what i should have said: "OLIVER MIKE GOLF - WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT"
what i actually said, with copious pauses of obvious making shit up: "uh, my cousin's initials: Olivia Michelle Gamage - William Tango Foxx"
what she said, after conferencing with maine state department of motor vehicles: "oh, it seems like it's "Oh My God, What If?" (which is a pretty good alternate explanation, actually).
i can't believe they bought my bald-faced lie, and also that nobody in the chain knew what WTF stands for. i keep thinking it's not real and i'll wake up soon. pinch me!
