lego hard drives are cool, but they could be so much cooler
these are almost awesome. they could be so much more!
imagine a network attached storage device with the network part being the brick on the bottom that the hard drive modules plug into.
also, imagine usb or firewire lego drives that automatically chained (through the studs) when connected.
also, imagine a raid controller brick on the bottom, into which you plug the individual disk blocks.
come on, lacie, make something revolutionary, not just cool looking, and all the geeks from both coasts will be buying them in droves! alternately, it's up to us to make them. diy hackers, your time is now!
