realize the utility of the boob tube
After watching the news programs on TV and listening to them on the radio for the past few days I have come to a conclusion: Life would be better if we replaced all network programming with educational and socially redeeming television. Leave cable alone, but make all free-to-consumer, broadcast networks show progressive, people-focused, people-produced shows. God knows it would be better than soap operas and sitcoms.
