How Life Should Be #2
I've been having a string of lovely days. Frivolous ramblings about my life start... Now.
Yesterday, Anne and I went to queensway to buy sport shoes and we're going to have our first training run this Saturday! Went to Ikea for lunch which was nice and then we went to town for tea and some shopping. I'm feeling terribly broke so I didn't get this dress that I wanted but Anne had a happy time hahaha. I've realized how critical it is to choose your shopping partners wisely... A person can be a close friend but not necessarily a good shopping partner. Anne, however, happens to be a combination of both. Met up with Daryl at night for his belated birthday celebration, DTF for dinner (cos they have great XLBs which I've missed) and Canele's for dessert :) We're down to 3 left in Singapore cos the rest are all jet-setters, sigh. Anyway, happy belated birthday, YTF!!
Poot came over today in the afternoon. We had grand plans to swim/run but the weather was disgusting. So instead, we decided to laze about in my room and we had our little makeshift karaoke with her megahuge earphones and music from Glee/John Mayer/Taylor Swift/KOL haha. We ended up taking an hour nap on my bed which was so piggy of us but whatever, IT'S THE HOLIDAYS! We are entitled to be Pigs. She left for training later and then I headed to dinner with Jastine (who I haven't seen in light years) at Astons, which IMO is cheap and has passable western food. Yoguru at Kallang wrapped the night up nicely :) thanks for the treat!!
So the only thing that's about to disrupt my string of happiness would be the visit to the dentist tmr. UGH, injections and fillings ETC. I shall psych myself by saying that it'll be all over really quickly.
