Odd

Last night was odd. It really started when I called to get pre-approved with a bank. So the property we are looking at has a stipulation before a person can put down an offer. That stipulation is that they get pre-approved with a certain bank, they don't have to use the bank, just be pre-approved.

So yesterday, right before I needed to leave for work I called to find out what information they needed. I wasn't intending to give them the information right there and then. Well the first three numbers they had listed were wrong, two were out of service and the third didn't even go to a bank. Finally after searching the paperwork the realtor had given us I found the correct number. And when I finally got in touch with someone they wanted to take down all my information then and there, even though I explained that I didn't have all the information needed in front of me. Everything went ok, until we got to income. I didn't know for sure, so I guessed. And I guessed wrong. Very wrong. I guessed about $20,000 off on Kevin's income and about $14,000 off on my income. Heh, so we didn't get approved for what I thought we would. The guy said that we would have to sell our current house before we could get approved for putting down an offer.

So when I got home I talked to Kevin about it and he got all upset over me guessing the wrong numbers. He must have asked me about 10 times last night where I got the numbers from. I guessed, I don't know where I got it. So even though he was all in a fit over it all he claimed that I was in a temper because finally after so many times of being asked where I got the numbers I yelled at him, "I guessed!!!" How many times did I need to say it till it sunk in?

So he sent an e-mail to the guy with scans of our pay stubs, and an explaination. Thankfully it changed everything and now we are pre-approved with the stipulation of selling our current house removed.

After everything was sent and done Keving turns to me and says, "We should rent a movie. At this point it is 10 pm and I feel sick. But we go out and rent "Book of Eli" which was a very thought provoking movie. I liked it. Kevin also rented 2012 which I told him I don't really want to watch. Hopefully he will return both before he goes to work. It is kind of funny, I don't like appocolyptic movies, but post-appocolyptic movies are ok. I think the main thing about appocolyptic movies is that they are so predictable, big disaster threatens the world, disaster comes thousands die, but a few humans survive, the end.

Post-appocolyptic can go any which way, robots, zombies, cannibles, etc. I don't mind them so much. The movie ended at about 12:30 at which point we both went to bed. I was surprised because Kevin usually stays up, but tonight he fell asleep with me. Ironically I didn't get to sleep till probably about 1:30 am. Ugh. Thankfully we got a good nap in when I got home (I slept from 5 to 7 pm, and Kevin slept till almost 9 pm).
