There is something slightly disconcerting to discover as you are driving down the interstate that the van in front of you has gun slots in its back windows. It is at that point where you find yourself wondering why a van that looked normal otherwise would have a pair of gunslots in the back windows. Armored vehicle? Strange gang vehicle? Some government vehicle? Turned out the van was an armored vehicle. Which was interesting to see, since usually it is armored trucks that you see, not armored vans.
I remember watching a show that looked a company that creates armored vehicles out of any vehicle you give them. They will take the vehicle and make adjustments to it like putting plating in the doors, changing all the glass to a bullet proof glass. And much more. The car comes back to you looking much like it did when you sent it in, but now it is basically a small tank, with no ammo. However, the downside of this company is that it costs an extreme amount of money to have them make a vehicle like this. I guess the government uses them to make cars and such for the President to ride in. It makes me wonder, what did this armored vehicle company pay for or do to the van to make it armored?
