I don't know how many dreams I had last night, or whether it was just one very long one. I dreamt of traveling. Kevin and I were in the Eastern US and needed to get to Montana (at least I think it was Montana). One strange irony about the US in my dreams is that the states never take as long to cross as they do in real life. Anyway we ended up traveling by airplane and had quite a few layovers. Finally we had a flight that would get us into Montana but not to our destination, it was another layover, but it was slightly different. The plane, when we got to it, was small, very small, it barely fit the two of us and the pilot. As we were flying the pilot let us know that he was not dropping us off at an airport, instead he would be dropping us off at an airplane way station of sorts and we would have to find a way into the city on our own. It was a shocking discovery. And when we got to the way station it was an even greater shock. The way station was actually just a shack in the middle of the mountains. We went in and found to our amazement supplies for us. We called up a rental car place and asked if they could come and get us.
As we waited for the rental car we began to walk along the road that led up to the shack. As we neared the end of it (where it connected to a larger busier road) we discovered that my family had shown up. Strangely instead of going straight into the city and getting to the airport the dream changed and we decided to just stay and hang out with family. We began to explore the little road area, and at one point wandered out into the mountain area, we saw a pack of wolves leaving their den for a different one. And climbing a part of the slope we came face to face with a temple. It was strange because it was out in the middle of nowhere. Very odd. Not too long after finding the temple the dream ended.
While it was not a bad dream compared to some of the dreams I have been having I did wake up in the middle of it and discover that my throat hurt. Last night was an odd night, Kevin had to leave for my parent's house last night because he has an appointment with some banks out in Rochelle today. So I went all night without Kevin, and unlike the last few weeks I wrapped myself in not just a sheet, but also a blanket. After waking up and discovering that my throat hurt I went back to sleep and covered my head a bit so that I would start breathing more humid air. I think I may set up the humidifier again and see if it will help.
I think overall I just need more sleep.
