Writer's Group and Writing Class

So last night was the writer's group, it went rather well, at least as well as it could, and I find that the one other constant member is really beginning to grow in her poetry critique skills. It will be neat to see where this all takes her. The other member doesn't have a whole lot to contribute and is actually kind of set in her ways of thinking. If she doesn't get something she says it in such a way that it sounds like she just really doesn't care. I wonder if she feels sort of left out. We have encouraged her to write stuff but she says no, and just sits at the meetings that she is at. Those meetings tend to be at her house. I don't know quite what to do for her...

This Saturday I will be attending a class on short story writing, it is actually more like a workshop, as it is a one day thing. I am not sort of regretting that I signed up for it because I will miss seeing Kevin for the entire day. -_- I will see him Sunday and thinking about that makes me wonder about what we should do for Sunday. Sunday is Stake Conference which basically means that all of the congregations in our area will gather for a large meeting to be counseled and inspired. It is a great meeting, however if you do not arrive early then there are no parking spots. We are almost never early and so for the last few years we have just not attended, because if we can't find a place to park then we can't very well attend. I might just drive out to my parents and attend church with them. I should call Kevin and see what he thinks about that.
