Good Deals

Soooo I'm gonna share some fun tips about Starbucks:

1. Registered Gift Cards
Those little cards that people give as gifts? They work just like cash and only cost you the money you put on them. If you go online and register them (basically stick your name and address to them so the company knows they belong to someone) you can get...
+ free extra syrup flavors
+ free soy milk or breve (half & half)
+ free plain coffee refills
+ 2hrs free wireless internet per day
+ a complimentary tall beverage of your choice when you purchase any bag of whole bean coffee*

- When the card runs out, just charge it up again either online or by having the barista do it for you at the store.

- Funds can also be transferred from one card to another, and you can have up to three registered cards on your account.

- If you choose the RED Card, a small percentage of every purchase will be put towards AIDS relief in Africa. :}

It is SO WORTH the 5min it takes to go online and sign up.

2. Bring Your Own Cup
Bring your own cup (travel, china, whatever, doesn't even have to be Starbucks brand) and receive $0.10 off per beverage. (Just be sure to measure how much your cup really holds.**)

3. Virtual Coupons
It really IS worth it to let Starbucks spam you; as a registered card member, you receive coupons and notices about special deals that standard customers will not get.
- As of right now, we're running a 2PM Tea Time; pay just $2.00 (plus tax) for a tall tea latte for the next couple of weeks from 2-4PM.

- Also, on Inauguration day, the store is handing out free tall cups of plain brewed coffee all day. :}

*You get a free tall cup of plain coffee whenever you buy whole beans no matter what currency you use. However, if you use a registered card to purchase said whole beans, your tall plain coffee gets upgraded to a free tall anything. :}
