so, walking to campus i always cut through summer ridge- it saves me a good minute or so.
anyway today while i was passing through- i noticed some writing on the floor facing one of the apartments.
i read it. or at least as much as i could, i was looking at it upside down, it was pretty long and got illegible toward the end.
i think it was a breakup type letter- u know, like one of those 'i think you're beautiful why aren't we together anymore' type things- either that or it was song lyrics. i dont know for sure.
but the desperation both in the words themselves and in the idea of writing a public letter on the cement with what seemed to be black sharpie for anyone to see seemed so poetic.
moral of the story: i'm a total sucker for 'romance' whatever that may be.
