The one about work
Monday and Tuesday flew by for me and now Wednesday is passing with all the speed of a 90 year old grandma with bunions.
Monday was crazy at work and I ended up with over 30 phone messages after it was all said and done. Not to mention the piles of work that were waiting for me since it was so busy the few days I was gone that no one else could take care of it. I did get a handle on everything fairly quickly so that made me feel all efficient :) Go me!
Monday night Lynn and I met in Schaumberg and went to dinner at Red Robin. It was so nice to get out and visit with a good friend. I love family but sometimes it's nice to just go out with your girls :) We stayed there talking for over 2 hours. We're both so busy anymore that we hardly get to hang out anymore. Plus, tax season starts soon so I'll be MIA soon.
Speaking of Tax, I had training last night. It baffles the shit out of me why they think someone who has been there for 4 years needs to go through new associate training every single year. They should split it up and just give us prior year people a separate training session that doesn’t waste our time. *Sigh* The training could have been worse, I suppose. They made it go fast and didn’t read from a book like some trainers do. I was very happy to be out of there by 8 rather than 9.
Well, my lunch break is about over. Back to the grind I go. At least I get a night off tonight where I can relax and get some things done around the house.
