Life...novel? [Blinks.] Did I really say that much? I was just thinking about the last month before I came here... well, a little more, I guess, if you count Toph's feet.

Oh, no, not like EYEBALLS. She was born blind, but she learned to use earthbending to see through the earth, and since she walks on her feet, that's how she sees. She can see as long as any part of her is touching the earth. She taught me how to do it, but it was a lot harder for me to learn because I'm used to just trusting my eyes.

Toph's pretty, she just doesn't... care. Looks don't matter much when you can't see them, I guess. I kind of admire that about her. And she's scary, but she's a good person, she's just more straightforward than people usually are and she doesn't take nonsense from anybody.

She's a good person to have on your side. I guess I'm saying... I wouldn't want to be NOT on her side, you know?
