But just how much of a problem is it? I don't know if we as humans can understand anything without it. We try out hardest to fight it and minimize it to nothing if we can, but if we succeed, we're bored and life is pointless. It gives our lives meaning. We're here to endure it, I guess, but we need it.
I don't know if you can truly love someone until that person has hurt you. Or you have experienced pain together. Tumultuous relationships are some of the most satisfying ones.
I saw the movie Ray the other day. His story is compelling because it hurts so much. His music really appeals to me, because it evokes a sort of sadness that wells up inside ready to bubble over. But I like the sadness. I don't know.
