I am so late to the party with Jacques Brel, but my ears have been devoted to him lately.
As usual, I am panicking about Halloween costumes. This is the stage that I think up absurdly elaborate costumes that reference obscure historical events. Specifically, YOU GUYS IN THE 1906 SAN FRANCISCO EARTHQUAKE, THE FEMALE WARD OF AGNEWS ASYLUM COLLAPSED, KILLING ABOUT 100 PATIENTS AND NURSES. THEY SAY IT IS STILL HAUNTED (despite belonging to Sun Microsystems at this point). I CAN TOTALLY REFERENCE THIS FOR A COSTUME, RIGHT? LIKE, A DEAD PATIENT?
Or maybe Titanic ghost. Random shipwreck ghost? I need to get a lot broader in my costumes.
