Trail Journal Voyer

Well, I have noticed that I have become a trail journal voyer. Most of this summer I have been following this guy named Pete as he was hiking north on the PCT. I watched his pictures as he started north from Campo in the desert and made his way to the Sierra Nevada range. It hit me when I stopped at Lassen, I was just watching someone else do what I always wanted to do. With encouragement from Becca, I think it has really hit me that this is something I am doing next summer. You can only wait on a dream so long, and only have a few perfect opportunities before you just have to move on it. So now the long prep begins... More trail voyarism to learn from what others have gone through... Tonight should be rich.

There is another element to this all, but I will not think to add it to my words till January after 4 months of training are through...

Let the Triple Crown begin...
