idiots
apparently, idiots are still roaming the earth. or atleast one, for sure. and i just met him. this kid jared who lives in my complex came to pick up one of my roommates for a date. and boy oh boy, do i feel BAD for monica. poor thing has to spend an evening with this LOONEY MAN. if i were her, i would say i had the clap and had to go home. aaah!
ok ok, so i came home early to write a paper that's due as a final for my psych class. [p.s. my finals started today, and i'm done with school on wednesday]. so, lucky me gets to stay out front while mon goes back to change. and this IDIOT asks me about what i'm studying and what i want to do with my life, blah blah. i tell him: sociology and international developement. why? well here's why: i want to serve as an advocate for women's rights to non-profit organizations. i am going to help promot human rights around the world. every little bit helps. and then this KID tells me the unthinkable: there are more important things to be doing with my time. MORE IMPORTANT?!? more important than helping people whom are suffering, near death, and being raped? i don't think so, mister! i was in total shock. i was trying to not look so digusted at him. ugh!! what a loser. i told him i was confused at what he was saying- so i clarified that i am going to HELP people that are SUFFERING right now. he DIDN'T GET IT!! aaaah! he told me that i need to worry about myself and my future family first. i told him i believe that serving people is a good thing to do. gosh. i had to leave the room. i was too flustered. and SHOCKED at his stupidity. he was walking out the door he sarcastically said: "good luck saving the world." and degradingly: "if you wanna do it, do it." geez monica, bless your dear SOUL for going out with that idiot.
