I would go to school and do my club activities, play guitar and then go to school again
Nobody believes me when I say this, but I used to pick up turban shells and sea urchins instead of an afternoon snack when I was a child. And I got into games later on. But I didn’t have any for myself so I would do nothing but level up my elder brother’s RPG characters. Those two things were my humble hobbies, when I was in primary school.
Music wasn’t an interest at all. Although I joined what was like a music club, it was listening. There was a drum and fife group when I was in Grade 6 and I said it would be better to join that music club to get a good part. But it turned out the drum and fife band was playing the recorder. (laugh)
Was that from the end of Grade 6 to my 1st year of middle school? My elder brother was in a band and I thought guitar was cool. And so my brother lent me his guitar and although I was in the baseball club at the time, I would go to school and do my club activities, play guitar and then go to school again. I actually wanted to be in the basketball club, but that was so I could do “slam dunks”. But when I was in primary school, I joined what was like a boys softball club so I got the kind of feeling of “If we did softball, let’s do baseball!” from all my friends. (laugh)
I formed my first band in my 3rd year of middle school and we did lives in places like our gymnasium, but I dropped out of high school for 3 months. I decided to leave school, so I thought that music was no good, too, and every day seemed to drag on. That continued for 1, 2 years? I started surfing after that and went into the sea morning and night, worked a job, morning came again, slept, night came again, and repeated it all from then on. I thought I would become a pro surfer. Was this when I was around 20? I came across a music program on late at night and when I watched it, I forget their name, but an indies band came on and I thought “Are they really like this?" and “I have to go and do this!” And so I told my parents the next morning “I’m going to Tokyo!” and went and formed a band with our previous drummer. That was my first encounter with visual-kei.
But surfing may have been helpful in regards to being on stage. You look really cool when you do moves like “Off the Lip” so I think about that kind of thing when I play guitar, too. I didn’t have the feeling that everything was all tied together when I surfed, so I want to decide on one shot, bold moves when I do lives, too.
Aoi’s Favourite
Aoi Model ESP A-I “艶~en~”
My original model called “En”. The maker who made it for me visited so often that I wondered if he lived with me.
Aoi’s Motto
Steady Progress
We decided on something like a class phrase when I was in my 1st year of middle school and the teacher gave us this phrase and I thought it was wonderful. But I forgot what kind of talk we had. (laugh)

Ruki: I thought he was scary the first time I saw him, but he was a surprisingly shy BOY.
Uruha: Is generally a data collector. Is someone who really battles through tough times, too… Surprisingly likes sake.
Reita: His movement is fast, whatever he does. Always drinks coffee. Has quite a lot of physical strength.
Kai: Has a lot of sympathy. Very polite. Often treats other people [to dinner, etc.].

Btw, I'll post their diary entry/entries later on in the day as I have a feeling there will be more.
