Well I had an idea a couple of weeks ago for my tired old Strat I made a coupla years ago. I disassembled the guitar and got to refinishing it. After some sanding and prepping I shot a few coats of semi-flat black and to my suprise it came out as smooth as a factory finish. I re-assembled it on Thursday and set it up and it still plays good but now it doesn't look so "old man". I also went and picked up some black pickup cover and knobs so the whole remake cost aboot $25 and 5 hours of time.

Originally I bought this guitar at a pawn shop for $70 because I needed a backup for my "old-man" Les Paul which now belongs to Steven. The only thing I haven't replaced is the body! If i cruise around the "mancave" I should be able to put together that old strat again!
Anyways, tell me what you think....
