I miss the good old days, but I'm so glad they're gone....

Ever sit back and reminisce about how it used to be better back when I was younger? Everyone does it but lately I've been thinking about the past more and more. I still have the same friends as when I was a kid, hell, some of my friends I've known since i was in kindergarten. I think about when I had 6 hours a day to play guitar and when I could just go out and skate for a day and then go get messed up at night! Now my life is cluttered up with work and the politics involved with it, even though my job lets me be retarded and have fun all the time I am spent when I get home and have little inspiration to do anything creative. Granted, at most times growing up I had little or no money and was one of the few kids to have an electric AND an acoustic guitar. Now I have 6 guitars and 2 amps and usually have coffee money ;).

About 10 years ago when me and Em started living in perpetual sin is when I realized I needed to grow up abit. After living off of peanut butter for 3 days and gathering up enough change to get a pack of cigs for $2.50! Good times huh? But if you ask Em she'll tell you I never completely grew up. I say I'm young at heart, she'll say I'm a retard.
That's the way men are, K and Em, so don't hate the penis-people in your life, we are trying to remind you guys to have fun all the time.

Alas, I try to remember, with all the great stuff that you remember about the past you also forget all the crap that was going on at the time. I'm sure when I look back to today 10 years from now, I'll remeber getting my tatty from Karen and partying and not the homeless man me and Howie had to kill behind the dumpster because he looked at H funny.
