Night before the exams~

Jun 21, 2010 16:19

Okay, okay, it's not night yet but I wouldn't have the time to write this post tonight so I'm doing it now. =w=;

So, everything starts tomorrow.
This week I'm having the 3 written tests then, hopefully, I have a week more before my oral exam takes place. I'm starting to get nervous, and moody, and grumpy. More than I usually am,anyway. My parents and sister are making me nuts: I am nervous, they get nervous and yell at me for being nervous. That increases my nervousness and everything begins again. It's a cycle. =A= How am I supposed to be relaxed at a time like this?

Gah, anyway... My classmates are forcing me into listening to an italian song of the 80s called "Notte Prima degli Esami", literally "Night before the Exams", by Antonello Venditti. Some old old guy who's famous here but to whom I've never listened to...
The song is pointless, or better said, it makes no sense. It talks about a guy who wants to make love to his girlfriend (how surprising :'D ) instead of thinking of the exam they're going to have the following morning.

"And your sin is original like your american pants, please don't stop my hands running up your tense thighs, disclosed as churches are when you want to confess." See? The guy's intentions are pretty clear to me. :'D

Not only the song is kind of terrible but they've made 2 movies out of it. TWO. About a group of teenagers that go on adventures (read that as: they have sex, drink, eat, and other things.)  the day before their exams, they don't study at ALL. But somehow they pass and get their degrees... Lucky dogs.
Also, the last movie is settled in 2006 when Italy won the FIFA World Cup... We're lucky this year Italy's team is failing so people don't make too much noise when we score and I can peacefully study in my room. =w=

Here you can hear the song with a clip of the first movie they've made.

I was blaming the song for being pointless but looks like my post is pointless as well... Good. I wasted my time once again. owo;
