[REPORT] Yellow Gold Tour 3011 Saitama 14 - 16/01 [Eng 2/2]
Then they go to stand at the cage's door when the typical prison alarm rings out. The lights go off and the spotlight is on Jin, sitting behind. Now the only things we hear are the sound effects, his breathing and his steps when he comes closer to the bars. He come closer to the bars for the first time and shakes them. Then he has a short solo in front of the bars, it reminded me of Michael Jackson's style
Then two dancers (I don't remember who) accompany him on a very rhythmic choreography (the moves are very jerky). Then Jin manages to pass between the bars (he's so strong he can move them apart... =))
Next, it's a part of the dance segment he already did. In February, it was the «Pop Dance» segment with Joey, Jin and Kazumi. Jin uses the two dancers like “puppets”. Joey does amazing things with his body again and Kazumi completely contorts again, with her crawling-on-the-ground splits o__O ! (It hurt me every time I see her do this).
Then all the dancers do a choreography which strongly looks like the RESCUE one (I think it was the HIP HOP dance in February) but it's longer.
At the end, the alarm rings again, Jin goes back behind the bars and all the dancers leave the stage.
It's the beginning of A Page, which he sings alone and behind the bars.
He start, sitting, with his hood covering his head. In the middle of the song, he's standing up on a small platform rising slightly above the bars. There are a lot of lightening effects with lasers. It reassured me a little when the audience sang “You & I” with him, as faint as it was, it's a start. J
Then the female dancers come back on a remix of A Page. Two of them take Jin (but it's no longer him, there was a trick) by the arm and push him into an iron cage while Miss Sullivan comes forward juggling with three sticks on fire. Then she sets the cage on fire and the stage brutally catches fire (sudden heat wave in the arena there !).
Pfiou... No more Jin. One Jin well cooked, one !! Oh well, no, there he is again in the middle of the stage, just like magic for the beginning of Lovejuice ! ^_______^
He dances alone for the intro while the four dancers are on the main stage. Nothing new for this song, one part danced with Aubree and the other with Lizzie. But I love it when he comes down the stairs to the dancers faking being drunk XD.
Then he goes inside of his bubble «of the futur» (which is still on stage since the beginning of the concert) in order to sit with Lizzie and Aubree to drink, talk, take off his jacket and his hat while the four other dancers have a dance show.
The we hear the famous sounds of cameras clicking, taking him red-handed, typical of the beginning of Paparats.
Damn, I love this song !! It fucking rocks ! And somehow it's a shame Jin doesn't make more rock songs because this style also fits him really well ! As far as I'm concerned, there's no song where I find him more sexy : all dripping with sweat, no hat, the veins of his neck palpitating with the strength of his voice and all angry looking ! >.<
Lot's of flames gushing out of everywhere during this performance.
And I'll never get used to the “Thank You” at the end of the chorus. I always get the impression he says “Fuck you”, which would fit the lyrics and raised middle finger.
Anyway, I hope he'll put this one on the album because I really reaaaaaly love it !
After this moment full of rage and resentment, back to the lighter party songs. The lightest one of them, Hey Girl !
Jin spends this song on the trolley, going around the arena while the rest of them are messing around (but really like crazy !!). Keibo appears on this song while Shumpei quietly stays backstage
Personally I wouldn't get all aroused if I was pointed at on the “You”... It's not very glorious knowing the lyrics ! XD
Ah yes, at the same time, the VTR with Ryo is broadcasted on the screen and at the end the ribbons are sent in the arena.
Then, it's “Break Dance” time. Each of the dancers have their short solos with their name on the screen. It's the way they're introduced. And there, I get frustrated because half the audience isn't paying attention anymore because, you understand, Jin's not on stage -____-”... Tssss. Yet, it's a really great moment !
They finish by introducing Jin who's back on stage, then they all dance on the Screen Dance music.
After that, Juice introduces a new song “Pin Dom”, which except for being heady and giving me the envy to drink some Dom Perignon Rose (Pink Dom Perignon
) didn't really take me with it so I don't have much to say about it. Except that the lightening effects and the screen gave the impression there were fizzy bubbles everywhere.
Actually, “Pin Dom”'s chorus gets on my nerves ! It's completely different than MAGNITUDE, I loved it as soon as I heard it.

Nothing new about it, I've always loved it and I only regret that Crystal Kay didn't come up on stage to sing it with him (maybe her current health condition also explains her discretion when she came). It's cool to see people move on this one !
The Fifth Season
This song is very beautiful and Jin really strains his voice ! He's alone singing with a micro on a microphone stand.
Then I was quite surprised to hear the beginning of Yellow Gold, I didn't think we were already at this point of the concert, meaning almost the end ;_;
This song is a real symbol now and after hearing it remixed before, it seems even more beautiful ! And I like the effects he makes on the part “I can share with you this world ooooh I could make you beautiful.”
Then My MP3.
This song gets everyone on high spirits and the small pelvic movement on the chorus if far from being ugly !!! Completely into the beat, we could stay for two other concerts after that !
But no... because then it's “Tipsy Love”, synonym of ending... ;_;
So I remember Jin messed up in the beginning Friday and he had to come to an agreement with the dancers who were at the other side of the stage, ready to answer him “Yeah oh !” XD.
This totally fucked-up moment was quite funny !
They still make the public sing
and then Jin presents each member of his team. One by one, so everybody chants their first name on “Tipsy Love”'s rhythm. They make a few dance steps before getting an embrace or a hug. And it's simply touching to see that they're more than a team of dancers, they're a group of friends. That's also what makes this concert have a little plus.
It ends with the showman, under the “Akanishi”s (Friday) or “Jin”s (Sunday) of everyone ! And with large sincere smiles, it's all happiness !

We finish with the last “Hey hey !”s before they all take a bow and leave Jin alone facing his audience for his moment of intimacy.
I really felt it this way. A moment of harmony and everyone knows he's going to sing Eternal.
And I really don't have much to say on Eternal. This song contains so many emotions that you just have to listen to it to catch a glimpse of it. The lightening effects are still splendid. During the whole song he's on the platform going above the arena.
It's a really beautiful moment.
A few more words and he bows down. I'm unable to remember what he said except of course when he announced what we've been waiting for for a while, the release date of the single. Anyway he warmly thanked everybody.
At the end of Friday's concert, his voice was already hoarse.
That same day, he said a shy “Tadaima” and everyone hollered “okaeri”.
He tends to mix Japanese and English when he speaks to the audience, it's cute !
And to finish, the remix I love during the ending credits rolling on the screen to conclude this movie,“A show produced by Jin Akanishi” with everyone's name, the dancers, the staff.
There's also the “Special Thanks” with the name of everyone in the audience (since the names are on the tickets). And I found this attention adorable, integrating his fans to his work and accomplishment. It's also a nice way to thank them.

This is it for this weird, long, confused and very late report !!
I could still talk hours about just my impressions but it's not the most important. I just hope I succeeded sharing a little bit of this astonishing concert.
His style, attitude and his vision of things, he completely breaks away from JE and what we're used to see. He's not one o them anymore after such a show, it's so... different !
A real kick in the hive ! I think we can be proud of what he accomplished in such a short time. He's a complete artist now and has showed it in the most impressive way !
He's back in studio so we can hope a new song for February, one included in the concert ! (maybe the one we hear during the VTR ? XD)
And I remember a sentence he said in his J-web, and it's SO TRUE !!!
“Those that are past their twenties, drink a bit of alcohol and come when you're relaxed.”
Note to the organizers : put a shot of vodka on each seat before the beginning of the concert, it may lighten the atmosphere !
