my weekend get away
i'm bored and not sleepy and it's the middle of the night so i've decided to share with everyone about my trip to PA to see my friend Nick.
The drive down was fun b/c i got to drive through punxsutawney. it almost made me want to stay till ground hog day. almost. I bought him this awesome card game called bellbottomed badasses on the mean streets of funk. it's a 70's b-movie action deal but with cards. Friday night we basically just chilled out and played that.
Saturday we played some more bellbottomed badasses and he kicked my ass in chess. he made me grilled cheese and tomato soup. it made me happy. his mom took us out to dinner for italian food. tiramisu is amazing. that night we rented a couple movies and watched them curled up on the sofa together. it was good stuff.
Sunday i got some breakfast and made fun of the movies on lifetime. i left in the early afternoon so that i wasn't driving all ngith in the dark.
it was pretty low key but it was fun and i'm glad i went. i hadn't seen him in years and it was amazing to do so again.
it needs to stop being so fucking warm in my room. how wierded out do you think my roommate would be if i just said fuck it and slept in thenude?
blah....i shoudl try to sleep soon. i have class at 930 and i have been getting up way way later than that all weekend......
