nasco (north american student cooperative org) institute was this weekend
it's this conference in ann arbor about cooperatives
and radical politics and radical culture change
and i feel flipped upside down
with passion and ideas
and beautiful people
like my friends and strangers
and there was a crisis at oberlin in my circle of friends
i've brought some ideas home
like a mental health party where we draw our own madness maps
life is complex and nuanced and i need these painful, intensive reminders often
and i thank people, around the globe. and can't believe what humans go through
and think we should unite and fight a good fight
and say thanks and give each other time, hugs, listening ears
homework must be done. but andrea smith comforts me because she uses phrases like "academic-industrial complex"
