my aunt and uncle's tree

this journal entry is dedicated to my favorite tree right now: a paperbark cherry tree, aka japanese paperbark tree.
this tree is located at my aunt and uncle's house in portland, oregon. it's amazing! the bark peels off like a ribbon reel and curls up in little curly queues.
