actually nothing strange happened.
i was out of town all last weekend and when i got back on monday morning i had to go straight to work.
then today my keys fell out of my purse at work at some point. they were locked in the building when jill and i closed up. except, i didn't know this until we said, "bye" and she walked away briskly whilst i dug through my purse. whilst?? so jill was not to be found by the time i reached my car and dug and dug and dug through my purse loaded with books, a shirt and sports-bra, strawberry lip gloss, bills, my mimi's old anne klein grey wallet, a hand-drawn map to pat's place that he drew the day before since i have never been there, etc...but no key!!!
anyhow, my friend rebecca, who works at the blue elephant in the same shopping center, gave me a ride to pat's place. i unintentionally interrupted the old-timerz practice in hopes that pat could break into the store with me so i could retrieve my keys that were somehow left there. blah blah blah...the old-timerz sounded awesome as usual. i pretended to not pay attention by reading an old rolling stones magazine from spring 2004 on the navy blue couch stuffed between speakers and instruments and unopened moving boxes. i tried to audition for their band's understudy position by playing songs on the piano, and later, just minutes after Mr. Lyons left, by singing "i think we're alone now" with pat (i tried to harmonize, but was too nervous).
oh yeah, and i did find my keys at work...someone put them in a drawer, which is really weird. then i gave chad seven moving boxes.
no one is my livejournal friend today.
