Ooooh, I don't normally read James fic, but the warnings intrigued me. This was fantastic. I love how James fought at first, but then slowly broke down. God... when he was apologising to Regulus?? That was painful. Wow... this was seriously dark and delicious. The ending was genius, too. Brilliant. well done. :D

Very chilling! I enjoyed the story thoroughly and the Voldemort/James pairing works perfectly for it. There's just not enough LV/James out there :D

I loved how cruel and methodical Voldemort was in his breaking of James. The contrast between James breaking and Regulus becoming stronger in his desire to fight Voldemort was also fascinating: It's a lovely explanation of what gave Regulus the final impulse to seek the Horcruxes.

And of course I loved the orgasm denial, followed by the orgasm being ripped out of James when he least wished it; his helplessness was brilliantly portrayed and it touched me deeply.

Thank you very much, oh secret gift-writer. It was a powerful and chilling story and I loved every bit of it :) You've made me very happy.

To be honest, I wasn't at all sure I would enjoy a LV/JP story, but the summary pulled me in and I'm so glad it did. This was fantastic. The torture and James slowly breaking down, which simply culminated beautifully at the end! I love the take on what happened at Godric's Hollow.

Very interesting to see a James who had been broken - the rape scenes were truly disturbing and the ending so sad. Great story!
