Tom enchanting/making a horcrux.

Second prompt--fic:
Tom interacting with Fawkes, when he applies for the DADA position. I wanna see the distrust. :D

au: what if tom's mother becamse a ghost and haunteds him and loves him in that form while he's at the orphanage. How does he turn out different?

Harry is the last Horcrux. Voldemort may or may not know this, but either way, he's hell bent on killing Harry. Before he does this, some kind of understanding grows between them for XYZ reasons. Needs lots and lots of angst ... Some Harry/Voldemort slash and an open ending a bonus!
