Wonder Stuff at Irving Plaza

Whilst web-browsing a couple of weeks ago I discovered that the Wonder Stuff were finishing their US tour here in NYC, so I quickly bought tickets. Along with NIN and Guns 'N'Roses, the Wonder Stuff were one of the few bands I like that I failed to see when I had an opportunity whilst in the UK.

The Wonder Stuff appear to have lost their bassist (Paul Clifford last time I checked) and drummer (Martin Gilks) and replaced them with a Mark and an Andres. Both seemed very good, the band's rendition of "Donation" was just awesome. The set was a good mix of their new album and the other four, there were a few songs that I would have liked to hear but I guess you can't have everything. They finished with "Ten Trenches Deep" which was a good way to go.

I guess my only issue with the whole thing was that it was on a Sunday night. Jess and I didn't get home until 1:30am :( Still, it was well worth whatever I go through this afternoon falling asleep at my desk...
