Sorry for the delay, my connection's been down.
After the intro with Farsight and Old!Trypp Scattershot kills three people (including two cops) in quick succession and threatens a third unless Shatterstar swears off the use of his weapons. He taunts 'Star to guess who he is, finally telling him to "smile for Mojo". Then he taunts 'Star that the reality-show-obsessed Earth has become Mojoworld (I can't argue with the general direction.), and that 'Star's efforts to escape have just landed him in the middle of another Mojoworld.
Meanwhile the pusher has called our heroes, and Jamie breaks cover to send out a search party.
LG: "I thought you were just a cheap imitation superhero!"
Jamie: "Actually, I think that way myself most of the time."
Back at the taunt-fest, Scattershot refers to 'Star as an "old man". Scattershot is clearly next-gen in a Liefeld direction (yuck), although it's not clear if he is or is not from 'Star and Longshot's gene-line. The pusher grabs a dead cop's gun and shoots the bad guy without hurting him, but it buys Shatterstar time to grab the bad guy's gun and take him out with them, leaving his oath intact.
LG and Jamie arrive as Scattershot's body disappears, recalled to Mojoworld. The pusher boasts that he got in a few shots for Bumblebee, and LG tries to recruit him. In a rare show of sanity, he runs screaming into the night at the offer. LG says he'll ask Farsight what happens next.
But Farsight has blown out his brains, leaving a note: I didn't want to see any more.
A solid story, but one that raised more questions than it answered.
