I'm fairly certain Miers isn't a real human. If you look carefully - particularly about her neck and wrists (which are often kept covered in "conservative" dress), you can spot what look like scars... spots where pieces of different bodies have been sewn together. Her scatterbrain'd answers to the various questions of the Senate are clearly a result of having to cobble together brain matter from several other minds. I don't like this. This obviously means that Bush has tampered in God's domain, and is setting himself up to be a diety in his own right.
And amidst all this, the Democrats still can't get a fucking platform. Jesus Christ. Did Clinton (Bill, not Hill) really soak up all the excitement of the Lefties? Did he use up all the Action Points or whatever that the Democrats had been allotted? We've got a ragtag semi-coherent Jeezer brigade on the right, a whiny namby-pamby sack of mopey-ass losers on the left, and no Hunter S. Thompson to tell us to tell the bastards to go fuck themselves, or each other. Not much difference between those options.
Dark days. I think we should just launch our nukes and get it over with. Start fresh! Start radioactive fresh! A whole new Mad Maxian world where politics gives way to wasteland gangism! We'd get rid of the glass ceiling and turn the planet into a glass floor. The Great Equalizer!
At this point, Roe v. Wade is the least of anyone's worries.
