I'm sorry...
I know its been forever since I've made a good update, and I'm sure plenty of you don't even read them anymore anyway. lol But it seems I haven't had a chance to just sit down and catch up, with anything...so, I guess I'll just talk about last week...that in itself was craziness...this one should make up for my lack of updates. lol
My sister, Heather, and her boyfriend, Ryan came home on Wednesday night in the most wonderful snow storm. I live a little closer than my parents, and could offer them both a bed at my house (one of them would have had to sleep on the couch at mom and dad's) so they decided to just stay with me. They didn't get to my house until about 2 and a half hours after they planned to be there...I hate snow! We ate dinner and then Heather helped me get some stuff finished up that I was making for Thanksgiving. We even conned Ryan into helping us make the turkey cupcakes =) I have pics to post one of these days too...
Thursday morning I had to get up early and go to work for PJs. It was still snowing like crazy and took me almost an hour to get to the football stadium, when normally it only takes a half hour. I walked up the 108 steps and found my boss. We stood in VERY close quarters trying to avoid the crazy blizzard action while we waited for Ronson to get there. We ended up getting sent home since there was no way we could run the steps all morning when they were covered with snow and ice. Then I had to try to drive back home...ugh! At least Barry let us clock in for an hour =) I guess he was feeling festive or something. I even got a hug and a 'happy thanksgiving' out of him, after I spilled his WHOLE cup of coffee...oopsie =X So...I get back home and shower and get ready so I could just ride out to mom and dad's with Heather and Ryan. Getting sent home from work meant that I wasn't going to miss dinner with my family after all =D We helped them finish getting ready when we FINALLY got there...ate...sat around and played games and stuff until about 11. I caught a ride home with Ali, since she was leavin a little sooner than the other two and I had to get up and go to work Friday morning. Again...let me stress how much it sucks to drive in snow!!
Friday morning I got up and went into work. It was incredibly dead...I was here an hour and a half and the phones only rang twice and I had absolutely no motivation to work. So, I got my paycheck and went back home. Heather and I sat around on the couch and watched the Game Show Network...I'm an addict =) Then I somehow ended up with a house full of people. We had talked about checking out this new country bar thats not too far from my house...and then everybody decided they were too lazy for that lol. So it was me, Heather and Ryan..then my parents both came over...then our friend Ali from Cincinnati with her friend...then Kimberly after she got off work. My poor kitty has been on extreme people overload! We played some games and had a good time =)
Saturday morning Heather and I were up early again...this time to go shopping with our mom and some of our aunts and cousins. Thats always a great time! I have pics to post from Saturday as well...we get a little too weird for our own good at times. We didn't get back home until after 9. We sat around and talked for a little while, while Ryan yelled and threw things at my TV. Notre Dame was playing...and he's a huge fan...but, he is from South Bend, so I guess it's allowed. It was late again when we got to bed.
They got up early on Sunday morning to go to church...I got up as they were leaving. Laid around on the couch...heated up leftovers...laid around some more...the WHOLE day on the couch included tons of lovin from Scrubbi. She was so happy for the peace and quiet! That evening I went to meet Kim at work for her lunch break. Somehow I ended up spending more money that I don't have on a cool ring and some more pajamas =X Sunday night my PJs boss called and told me we were gonna play a game...the game was called 'set your own schedule'. lol...he gave me 'rules' for the game...which basically were just that I had to work at least one night on the weekend, since he got slammed on Saturday night when he was working alone and doesn't want to leave someone there working alone. hehehe...I think it's hysterical, since he likes to leave us working alone all the damn time! He kept going on and on and on about how he got his ass handed to him. lol So anyway...he was just telling me too, about how he wanted to give me first pick on hours, since I've been there the longest. Then he'd call Ronson and tell him what was left and available...and then fill in with store employees where he needed to. So this winter for the ice skating rink I'll be working all day on Sundays (10 hour shift), Monday and Tuesday evenings (4 hour shifts each) and Friday nights (he wasn't sure how late they're open on Friday nights...6-8 hour shift). So that'll be about 25 hours a week...which will be good. Hopefully not too much, but enough to make it worth it so I can get my savings built back up and spend it all again in the spring time =/
Kim met me at my house last night after work. We went and did some shopping and then came home and got things ready for dinner tonight. Mom and dad are comin over to help get everything ready in my basement. We'll be tearing down these big shelves, and taking down the asbestos covered pipes =X and who knows what else.
My furnace is FINALLY getting installed tomorrow morning...which means no more freezing to death at my house, and also a day off!!! =D But thats where all my money I made this summer went...so, it's good and bad I guess. lol I know it's good in the long run and whatnot, it just sucks to see everything I busted my ass for this summer just disappear so quickly.
And then Thursday night I'll be missing all of my shows, which I hopefully remember to record! I have to go into work for PJs so I can be 'trained' at the ice skating rink. fun times...
Friday I'll be working both jobs...
Not sure what I'll be doing Saturday...
Sunday I'll be working all day at the ice skating rink as well...
Now you can all be jealous of my life if you want!! =P
