it is totally sanity-breaking
clearance brings out the worst in women. There are good deals to be had--IF you can find something that isn't hideously old-lady (these items are few) and that fits (also rare). I lose patience with clearance in a dept. store, the incredible work of looking through it is hardly worth the reward, and in my experience, I almost never find anything. So I avoid it all together. You have my sympathy. Retail sucks.
