Work has kept me from my LJ, but I return!

After I told everyone that I’d be leaving my job, Martin was eager to get a day or two off while he could. So I’ve worked a couple of 12-hour shifts now. I have to say, though, that I don’t mind it at all. When I work longer shifts, especially on consecutive days, I do a better job than what my coworkers usually do with the same time. This makes everything go smoothly and I can relax a little.

Marco is an awesome guy, and I love working with him. He has inspired me to start calling girls "Mami" like he does. Of course, I’m slightly less Puerto Rican than he is, so it might not work out as well as I’d like it to. Nonetheless, if you’re a girl who I talk to, be prepared.

Marco’s life is interesting, to say the least. Last week, he proposed. This week, he was kicked out of his house.

Some day last week--or was it the week before?--I picked up Lynn and we DDRed for 3 hours at my house. Then we hit Bob’s Diner, where I ordered the Hungry Man, but was not quite hungry enough. Then we watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, DDRed a little more, and called it a night.

Oh yes. The Rollo Incident. One night, while working with Martin, some kid stole an 81 cent Rollos. Martin waited until he and his friends were done in the gas station, then scared the shit out of him and called the cops. Overkill? Maybe, but he was a punk, and they were also driving around with empties in their car, so they may have broken some more serious laws too. Fuck ‘em.

Bought my very first scratch-off lottery ticket which was, not surprisingly, a waste of money.
Drove Marco to the train station this morning.
Spencer has left for school already.
One week of work left.
Two weeks until Bard.

Damn, my entries are getting dull.
