Exchange Students
Fumi, my Japanese suitmate, was watching Independence Day in Japanese. Hopefully he didn't think it was a historical flim...because those visual effects are amazing. There has to be some form of irony there. Plus, I don't think Will Smith's black jokes work as well in Japanese.
Also, my other suitmate likes this WWII game. At one point during the game they talked about bombing Japan...and Fumi watches him play this game so he was like "what zey say?"
