And here I am, North Conway NH. The mouyntains are fantastic with some amazing views here and there.
So, the theatre company is pretty crazy here. It's been a blast so far but I've been warned that I'll be working aLOT this summer. Yesterday we drove to maine and around the area getting tools and setting up the scene shop and the wardrobe area, drank, struck the previous lighting plot during the actor's 45 minute break, drank more, went to the company meeting to get the low-down and free food, drank there too, and then painted the stage floor while drinking followed by some illegal activities.
So I'd say it was a pretty full day.
The company is full of characters and I'm sure this summer is going to be one of the longest ones ever. I'm about done here and ready to go back to my theater, maybe organize my booth a little bit while waiting for the LD to come by and tell me what he knows about the plot and what he wants to do.
Internet is a rare commodity here as of yet, but with any luck our house will be hooked up with SOME service so I can stop coming to the cafe to check my shit.
Speaking of my house, did I mention it's the movie animal house taking place in crazy/'unique' ski lodge? because it is, and will be the center of this wild and crazy summer.
