I made a pretty big revelation. Why Buddists teach you must eliminate desire to become enlightened. To achieve complete peace you must not have hope, because quite often, your hopes will not come true, and you will then be saddened, to say the least in some cases. But if you remove only hope, you bring about dispair, you have nothing to live for, but if you remove desire, you have peace. Compete and total peace. I won't go into what brought about this clairity of thought, but Scottie is to blame and thank. Thanks hun.
