Media thoughts
We saw a neat movie called Ink last night. It was a lot of fun. Very beautiful - though about a million people saying that about Avatar didn't remotely make me want to see it. Very clever too, and not _too_ much explaining the conventions of the fantasy world. I could have lived with even less, and it looked at first like they weren't going to explain at all, but still well outside of the usual trap of sci-fi and fantasy where they feel the need to explain the mechanics of the world too thoroughly.
Another thought. I really didn't like Farscape much. But I realized this morning that it was a remake of Blake's 7, which I did like a lot.
