My last post was huge, for reasons unforseen. It was just a spur of the moment thing where I had to get thoughts written down. It helps for if I ever consider writing a book. obviously I'm not reaching a very large audience now but I'd like to someday ( Read more... )

This whole rap thing seems to be really big issue to you. As if it is among the primary issues in the country today.

Do you really consider it to be that big of a deal?

It is a huge deal. You mention the exact reason it's a big deal, because nobody in this generation really sees it that way. Therefore no one speaks against it and it gets away with so much stupidity ( ... )

Well luckily as an intelligent person, you will not be fooled into living by BIG's lifestyle, unlike a lot of people. Don't get me started on that evil asshole. He may have had a tough life but that gives him no right to be such a dick. Oprah had a tough life too but she's nice ( ... )

malcolm x wasn't a racist

"I believe in recognizing every human being as a human being, neither white, black, brown nor red. When you are dealing with humanity as one family, there's no question of integration or intermarriage. It's just one human being marrying another human being, or one human being living around and with another human being."

a lot of conservatives (but you're a centrist LOL) tend to completely pretend that the last years of malcom's life were non-existent, making him out to be some whacky "all power to the blacks" maniac who wanted to kill all the whites of the world. his last years were where he really became the important figure intellectually that he is considered today.

in my personal opinion, when you're black, you can only be a little xenophobic. whites invented racism.

He did sort of turn around in his later years. But the extremists don't want to think about that.
