Weekends are very long here at school. Why? Well, maybe because I don't have class on Friday. Every weekend is long, maybe even too long. Like by now it's Sunday and I have nothing to do.
I did a few things the past few days though. Thursday I went to a good bar, or at least a better one than the first one to which I went. That night I hung out with Amanda and Kayla, who are both really cool and down to earth, and most importantly have things in common with me. So it was a pretty good time. Earlier, we made a desperate attempt to meet Nick Mason (Pink Floyd drummer) at Best Buy where he was signing merchandise. He got there at 6, we got there at 7:24. He had already left. Alright, at least we tried.
Friday I just sat around all night and a bunch of messed up people came in my room and trashed it later that night. I became blue.
Last night was interesting. I went with some people on my floor to Korea Town near the Empire State Building. We had Korean food. It was a very interesting experience. Side dishes automatically provided and spread all over the table. Cooking at the table. Birthdays celebrated with extemely loud techno music. I ordered floating roast beef.
Then, we wandered all the way back to Pace. It was fun. We walked through Greenwich Village, Little Italy, and Chinatown. Greenwich village at 12:30 AM was happening. People everywhere having a good time. People ripping it up on guitar in Washington Square Park. Very awesome.
Today I have been sending files from Ruckus to iTunes all day with a converting program I got. My iTunes library is getting very large. I love the new iTunes as well, with gapless playback and album art.
A lot of people leave this school on the weekends. I'm looking forward to the week kicking up again.
