Final updates, and then the important stuff

My last adventure happened today, as I went out with Lynne (the herbalist who lives on the Gilbertsons' property) and Jill (her friend from Wisconsin) and their boyfriends. We went to the Hare Krishna center for dinner, which not only meant cheap food and chanting, but a talk and debate with a Swami that, needless to say, I got involved in. It was quite interesting, I'll tell more about it later. I don't have a lot of energy right now and the last thing I'll write is the most important anyway.

Sort of bad news: I never did make it to Mordor due to time and money constraints, but, well, you can't do everything. Sorry I couldn't bring back any rocks. Guess it's something for next time. Also, I never did get on King Kong, though I certainly tried. Disappointing, of course, but what are you gonna do? I'll just have to focus harder on making my own things happen back at home.

What I really want to say is that I miss everyone. Sure I've been writing about adventures and oft appear happy or perhaps disinterested in my posts, but the truth is that home has been first on my mind these past few weeks and more than anything I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.

I am thrilled about my reunion. All you reading are the most important parts of my life, and it will be good to be back. I want to spend a large amount of time with everyone - family, friends, Celeste - individually and together. Space-time physics limits my capacity to do so, but rest assured I want nothing more than to spend as much time with as much people as possible. We'll worry about the specifics of scheduling when I get back. For now I just want to say I've been missing everyone terribly and will be happy as ever to see you all again.
