Young? Just Us

Watching: Young Justice continues to get better and better. In all seriousness, I'd rather read DC comics set on Earth-YJ than the New 52. The most recent episode was a cameo-fest, with the Entire Justice League out doing super-heroic stuff while the kids go on a pretty dangerous stealth mission. Super-bonus points for the cameos including Icon and Rocket from Milestone. This Earth's JLA pretty much does require a villain team as sneaky as "The Light:" to face it, considering that the team has: Superman, Icon, Captain Marvel, Captain Atom, J'onn and Wonder Woman on it. (And that's just the Big Gun contingent.) Brent Spiner was pretty good as The Joker, though Mark Hamill has owned the role so long it's hard to imagine anyone else doing the voice. (Rob Lowe did a great job with Captain Marvel last week too.)

Gaming With Dice: So close to leveling in Pathfinder. Sigh. I'm also working on a powerful urge to run supers. Oh, and because Players Are Smarter than GMs, it's taken me quite a while, but if we ever pick up my M&M game again, I've figured out why supervillains left New Athens alone after the deaths of Doc Daedalus and his nemesis The Minotaur. Really, prior to a PC insisting there was a reason for it, I just figured that things just quieted down.
