Okay, in Alabama during the summer, apparently birds chirp at night.  This makes it feel like it's morning and screws with my internal clock

I thought birds chirped at night here in Jersey, but then I checked my clock and it turns out it was 5AM.

Those would be Mockingbirds! They are rather notorious for singing in the dead of night and it is often a common complaint X^D

You'd love the birds here! ... They *start* at about 3-4am and just get more and more active and loud as the morning nears.

Otherwise, it's quite nice. ... Also, Monsoon season! YAY!!!
